Purpose
Recruit and run a community of producers, planners, actors, staff, fans, influencers, marketers and investors who want to take part in filmmaking

Melomance DAO became the film Romance
What began with forming a DAO in 2022 was completed as the feature film Romance, released in Korean theaters in 2025, and went on to win a Platinum Remi Award at WorldFest-Houston, one of North America's leading film festivals — a success story for a film made together with fans and participants through a DAO.

Synopsis
Suddenly laid off, and then losing her mother, Hye-kyung inherits the family's beloved restaurant. When she discovers an embarrassing video of herself spreading on social media, she tracks down the person who first posted it, Hyun-woo. He offers to help bring the restaurant back to life as an apology — and as the two search for the secret behind its famous food, something unexpected starts to grow between them.
